NBC and Jerry Seinfeld have shot down rumors printed in Friday’s New York Post, that said the comic was in talks with the network to do a new sitcom in the vein of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The struggling CW Network has laid off 25-30 employees as part of a restructuring that included the elimination of its comedy department.
