Broadcast TV Ratings for Friday, February 8, 2008

In yet another closely contested Friday evening (with a low overall audience), Fox takes the top prize among households and viewers, while NBC takes first among adults 18-49.

FOX finished in first place for the evening with a 4.6/8 household rating/share and 6.44 million viewers, but was second among adults 18-49 with a 1.8/6 rating/share.

  • 8:00 p.m.: A repeat of Bones (3.8/7 HH rating/share, 5.79M viewers, 1.5/5 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 9:00 p.m.: And that was followed by a repeat of House (5.3/9 HH rating/share, 8.20M viewers, 2.4/7 A18-49 rating/share).

NBC followed in second place for the evening with a 4.3/8 household rating/share, but managed stronger first place finishes among both viewers (6.72 million) and adults 18-49 (1.9/6 rating/share).

CBS finished in third place for the evening with a 4.2/7 household rating/share, 6.29 million viewers and a 1.6/5 rating/share among adults 18-49.

ABC followed in fourth place for the evening with a 3.2/6 household rating/share, 4.68 million viewers and was tied for fourth among adults 18-49 with a 1.3/4 rating/share.

  • 10:00 p.m.: And lastly, an original episode of 20/20 (4.3/8 HH rating/share, 6.29M viewers, 1.8/5 A18-49 rating/share).

      • Households – 4.7/8 to 4.3/8
      • Viewers – 6.81M to 6.29M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.0/6 to 1.8/5

The CW finished in fifth place for the evening with a 2.7/5 household rating/share, 4.32 million viewers and was tied for fourth among adults 18-49 with a 1.3/4 rating/share.
