“Judge Judy” Renewed for Two More Seasons and other Syndication News

Court show Judge Judy Sheindlin has inked a new multiyear deal with CBS Television Distribution to continue with her show Judge Judy, and the CBS Television Stations group has renewed the top-rated court show for two more seasons.

CBS Renews “Survivor”

CBS has ordered another season (two cycles) of its hit reality series Survivor.  With the new deal, for the 17th and 18th seasons, the show will remain on the network through at least 2009.

CBS and ABC share leadership on Sunday night, as CBS gets solid results from 60 Minutes (the nights most-watched show), a new Shark and the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie The Russell Girl to give the network a first place finish among households and viewers.
