Broadcast TV Ratings for Thursday, January 10, 2008

ABC and CBS each returned their powerhouse programs (CSI and Grey’s Anatomy) and both shows performed on par with their most recent airings. Grey’s Anatomy took the household and adults 18-49 win, while CSI came away with the win among total viewers.

Helping CBS secure the household and viewer win for the night was Without a Trace, while ABC stayed just strong enough to take the A18-49 win for the night.

Third place for the night went to Fox, which got strong numbers from Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.

And lastly, NBC saw so-so numbers for its comedy lineup, Celebrity Apprentice and ER. Despite a weekly decline (obviously inflicted because of the addition of CSI and Grey’s Anatomy to the hour), Celebrity Apprentice showed very solid growth from its lead-in.

CBS finished in first place for the evening with an 8.8/14 household rating/share and 13.54 million viewers, but was second among adults 18-49 with a 3.5/9 rating/share.
