Some may recall nearly three months ago (related article here) that Liev Schreiber was in final talks to portray William Stryker in the upcoming X-Files spin-off film.

Well, scratch that.

Though Liev will indeed be in the film, CHUD is reporting that the actor will instead be playing Graydon “Victor” Creed (Sabretooth) in the film.  Details after the jump.

Lost Boys 2: The Tribe may hit theaters after all.  Speaking to fans through his blog, Corey Feldman wrote that a decision on releasing the film in theaters won’t be made until February.  Details after the jump.

Nu Image/Millennium Films and Lionsgate have announced a deal that will have Lionsgate aquire the North American distribution rights to the film series Conan the Barbarian.

Broadcast TV Ratings for Thursday, January 10, 2008 January 11, 2008 5:31 pm

ABC and CBS each returned their powerhouse programs (CSI and Grey’s Anatomy) and both shows performed on par with their most recent airings. Grey’s Anatomy took the household and adults 18-49 win, while CSI came away with the win among total viewers.

Helping CBS secure the household and viewer win for the night was Without a Trace, while ABC stayed just strong enough to take the A18-49 win for the night.

Third place for the night went to Fox, which got strong numbers from Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.

And lastly, NBC saw so-so numbers for its comedy lineup, Celebrity Apprentice and ER. Despite a weekly decline (obviously inflicted because of the addition of CSI and Grey’s Anatomy to the hour), Celebrity Apprentice showed very solid growth from its lead-in.
