Broadcast TV Ratings for Monday, January 7, 2008

Fox has no trouble taking the evening thanks to the networks broadcast of the BCS National Championship Game, despite the game posting numbers well below last year’s game.

Elsewhere on the evening was the series premiere of Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann on ABC, which had a respectable debut. On NBC, episode two of American Gladiators held on to a solid portion of its series premiere numbers from the night before, and Medium premiered on par with last seasons premiere.

Fox finished in first place for the evening with a 13.5/20 household rating/share, 21.58 million viewers and a 7.6/18 rating/share among adults 18-49.

  • 9:00 & 9:30 p.m.: A repeat of Two and a Half Men (7.3/11 HH rating/share, 11.56M viewers, 3.9/9 A18-49 rating/share) was followed by a repeat of Rules of Engagement (5.2/8 HH rating/share, 8.05M viewers, 2.8/8 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 10:00 p.m.: And a repeat of CSI: Miami (6.3/10 HH rating/share, 9.14M viewers, 2.8/5 A18-49 rating/share) ended the evening for CBS.

The CW was left for a fifth place finish with a 1.2/2 household rating/share, 1.68 million viewers and a 0.7/2 rating/share among adults 18-49.
