Warner Bros. today officially announced that they will be exclusively supporting Blu-ray over rival format HD DVD. The studio will support both formats through May 2008, at which point all future releases will be made on Blu-ray.

Fans of the hit 80’s film The Lost Boys will have to go out and purchase the sequel Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that the film will not be hitting theaters, and will instead be heading straight to DVD.
Still doing well in the box office, it’s being reported that author Richard Matheson has signed off on the sequel rights to I Am Legend.
Director Guillermo Del Toro is prepping a version of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Telling MTV News that he’s “always been” interested in directing a version of Frankenstein, Del Toro said he’s hard at work in pre-production. |
