Sasha Baron Cohen, the actor responsible for the Borat and Ali G characters, has told The Daily Telegraph that he’s retiring the two characters.
In an interview with MTV, The Kingdom director Peter Berg confirmed a rumor that Dune is coming back and that he will be directing it. Berg told MTV that plans for him to direct are “a done deal” and that “if it weren’t for the writer’s strike, we’d be in it right now.”
Fox has announced the return dates and schedule for their new season of American Idol. The show will begin back-to-back on January 15 and January 16. Full details follow after the jump.
Comedy Central has confirmed that its latenite talk shows The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report are returning to air original episodes on January 7, two months after taking a break due to the WGA strike. |
