Opening day box office totals for Saw IV reveal that the film took in an estimated $14.3 million from 3,183 theaters, a figure very close to the record $14.47 million taken in by Saw III last year.
Reaper has been given an order for additional scripts. The CW picked up three more scripts for the drama/comedy. Also, new comedy Aliens in America looks set to be the recipient of an expected back nine order.
Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems are teaming together for a third film in the Underworld franchise. Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans will be a prequel to the prior two films. It’ll be directed by Patrick Tatopoulos, who served as creature designer and supervisor on Underworld (2003) and Underworld: Evolution (2006).
ABC has placed a three-script order for its freshman drama Dirty Sexy Money. The show is the latest from ABC to receive additional script orders, joining comedies Carpoolers (three scripts) and Samantha Who? (six scripts). |
