SCI FI Channel and G4 have secured the off-network cable rights to the Emmy-award winning ABC hit sci-fi series Lost. The deal gives both networks rights to air all existing episodes of the series in primetime starting fall 2008.

Customers purchasing the upcoming special-edition DVD of Live Free or Die Hard will be getting a special bonus; an electronic copy of the movie that can be played on a computer and select portable video devices.

A few days ago it was reported that Chris Pine was offered the role of James T. Kirk in the upcoming J.J. Abrams film Star Trek. It’s now been confirmed that the actor will take on the role.
