Brett Ratner and Chris Tucker are re-teaming for Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra. The film, from New Line Cinema, will be based on the 2003 HarperCollins novel.
Ratner will both produce and direct the film, while Tucker is eying the role of Sinatra valet George Jacobs.
For a little background on the novel, here’s some of the Variety article:
“It’s like a love story between two very unlikely people,” Stadiem said. “Brett is a Rat Pack obsessive, and so it’s fun to work with someone so passionate about the period. I think he’s channeling Frank sometimes.”
The book’s author, Stadiem, will be writing the screenplay.
