“The Knights of Prosperity” and “The Nine” Dropped

After returning from extended hiatus’s, The Knights of Prosperity and The Nine are being sent packing again.

The network confirmed today that they are changing their Wednesday night lineup, dropping both shows and moving NASCAR in Primetime to 10:00 p.m. ET.

The move is a result of poor ratings for both shows, and the night on a whole.  The Nine debuted to less than 3 million viewers, and dipped below 2 million the following week, while The Knights of Prosperity fared similarly poorly.

The new lineup, which goes into effect this coming Wednesday (August 15) follows below:

8:00-8:30 p.m. – According to Jim-REPEAT
8:30-9:00 p.m. – According to Jim-REPEAT
9:00-10:00 p.m. – Primetime: The Outsiders-REPEAT
10:00-11:00 p.m. – NASCAR in Primetime

The remaining episodes for ‘Knights‘and ‘Nine‘, may or may not be streamed online.

I have viewed closely your programming grid for the 2007 – 2008(Allegedly) season.
Its interesting to see that many oif the new shows only have 13 episodes as do some of the older ones.
Ialso see that several shows do not have a number of episodes at all and I am sure that you tried hard. I would be dissappointed if Las Vegas gets dropped, but with James Caan no longer on the show, (Or is he) the show might lose viewers.
I am also very upset that “Shark” is on Sundays after Cold Case.
I don’t Care for Cold Case and I wrote to CBS That Without A Trace should be returned to Thusdays which it was.
The problem is that on Sundays, CBS broadcasts Basketball and interfered with the starting times of Without A Trace, and will do so for “Shark.”
Perhaps if CBS drops a show during the week, they will wisely move Shark to that timeslot.
Your posting of this schedule is excellent and I thank you for it, especially including the start dates for each show.
You made only one error, which is perhaps a typo. Your grid indicates that “Heroes” Is new and you know it is not.
    Other than that, it’s perfect!
Thank you very much for your hard work. I appreciate it.

No problem, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll make those corrections (yeah, NEW next to Heroes was just a strange typo, I say strange because the show is a favorite of mine, not sure how I made that mistake. :)).

Episode orders are hard to find. For the most part, new series are given an initial order of 13 episodes. If they do well, the network will usually pick up what they call the “back nine” (pushing the season total to the more normal 22 episodes).

I’m going to go through them again and will try to correct (or add ones that I’m missing).

The main point of the grid (and I’ll do one for the winter/midseason, and this will be continually updated as schedules change, etc.) was to have an easy to read guide to when a series premieres, and what day/time it’s on.
