Broadcast TV Ratings for Sunday, August 5, 2007

CBS took first place on the night among households and viewers, but thanks to a strong performance from four repeat episodes of Family Guy, Fox took first on the night among adults 18-49.

CBS finished in first place for the evening with a 4.9/9 household rating and 7.49 million viewers, but was second among adults 18-49 with a 1.8/6 rating.

NBC followed in second place for the evening with a 3.6/7 household rating and 5.22 million viewers and was way back in fourth place among adults 18-49 with a 1.4/4 rating.

ABC finished in third place for the evening with a 3.1/6 household rating, 4.70 million viewers and a 1.5/5 rating among adults 18-49.

Fox followed in fourth place for the evening with a 2.8/5 household rating and 4.58 million viewers, but managed a strong first place finish among adults 18-49 with a 2.2/7 rating.

  • 9:00 & 9:30 p.m.: And another set of back-to-back repeats of Family Guy (3.8/6 HH rating, 6.37M viewers, 3.1/8 A18-49 rating).

The CW was left then in fifth place with a 0.7/1 household rating, 934,000 viewers and a 0.3/1 rating among adults 18-49.

  • 9:00 p.m.: A repeat of Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll (0.7/1 HH rating, 952,000 viewers, 0.4/1 A18-49 rating).
