I highly recommend it. It's not strictly a cop show, like L&O. The Closer has a top-notch cast, and instead of all drama, it has elements of comedy, and it all works seamlessly. Too bad you didn't catch the marathon. There were five episodes from season one, including the Pilot, and every episode of season two. The Closer is a great cop drama. I highly recommend it. But I only watched the first couple episodes. It's strongly acted and does a pretty good job at distinguishing itself from other shows out there. That's one of the reasons why it rates so highly.
