Broadcast TV Ratings for Monday, May 28, 2007

CBS takes another Monday, with solid performances from their repeats. Weak debut for ABC’s Ex-wives Club while NBC’s Miss Universe Pageant off from last year’s edition.

CBS finished in first place for the evening with a 5.4/9 household rating, 8.29 million viewers and a 2.7/8 rating among adults 18-49.

  • Last Week:
    • 7.0/11 HH rating [#2]
    • 10.58M viewers [#3]
    • 3.3/9 A18-49 rating [#4]
  • 8:00 & 8:30 p.m.: Back-to-back repeats of How I Met Your Mother (3.4/6 HH rating, 5.37M viewers, 1.8/6 A18-49 rating) and The New Adventures of Old Christine (3.9/7 HH rating, 6.16M viewers, 2.0/6 A18-49 rating) were a good deal weaker than last week’s back-to-back Two and a Half Men repeats.
    • Last week’s numbers (Two and a Half Men-REPEAT):
      • Households – 5.2/8
      • Viewers – 7.72M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.5/8
    • Last week’s numbers (Two and a Half Men-REPEAT):
      • Households – 5.7/9

      • Households – 7.9/12
      • Viewers – 11.82M

      • Viewers – 9.65M to 7.14M
      • Adults 18-49 – 3.2/9 to 2.4/7
    • Last week’s numbers (Heroes – season finale):

  • Last Week:
    • 10.2/16 HH rating [#1]
    • 15.18M viewers [#1]
    • 5.0/13 A18-49 rating [#1]
  • 8:00 p.m.: A new episode of Wife Swap (4.1/7 HH rating, 6.25M viewers, 2.3/7 A18-49 rating) wasn’t able to match its last newly aired episode, but things may slowly trend upwards once audiences adjust to the show being back on the air.

      • Viewers – 20.19M
      • Adults 18-49 – 5.3/15
  • 9:00 p.m.: The series premiere of Ex-wives Club (3.6/6 HH rating, 5.31M viewers, 2.0/6 A18-49 rating) was rather weak.  Then again, it’s the summer, and if ratings stay consistent, ABC should be pleased.
