Broadcast TV Ratings for the Week Ending 5/6/2007

CBS, ABC and FOX split ownership for first place, with CBS taking households, ABC taking viewers and FOX taking adults 18-49. Year-to-year, ABC was the only network to be consistently up across the board. The CW was basically even year-to-year, with a slight increase among viewers, while NBC was off the most from last year.

Compared to the year prior, CBS was down 12% among households, down 15% among viewers and down 23% among adults 18-49. ABC was up 26% among households, up 23% among viewers and up 13% among adults 18-49. FOX was down 5% among households, down 6% among viewers and down 12% among adults 18-49. NBC was down 24% among households, down 25% among viewers and down 23% among adults 18-49. And finally, The CW was even among households, up 4% among viewers and down 1% among adults 18-49 (all compared against the combined averages of UPN and The WB).

CBS finished in first place with a 7.3/12 rating among households (8.08 million), was second among viewers with a 4.0/11 rating (11.24 million) and third among adults 18-49 with a 3.1/9 rating (4.03 million).
