MTV is reporting that Nicolas Cage has been confirmed to play a younger version of Chicago mob boss, Al Capone in The Untouchables: Capone Rising.
FOX will renew ‘Til Death. Previously unexpected to make a return, FOX seen potential in the show and helped it grow by having it lead-out of American Idol. The move paid off, with ratings increasing dramatically, as the series did a good job in regards to retention out of the hit reality series.

It’s been a busy day in terms of news relating to NBC’s 2007/2008 television series. This item pertains to Scrubs. Though the show has struggled this season with lower than average numbers, the network is expected to renew the comedy for its 7th season.
It’s looking more and more likely that Pirates of the Caribbean will not remain just a trilogy. It’s unclear who all will be involved and what the film will focus on, but new details reveal that the fourth installment may be a spin-off.
Coming out on top in a bidding war with four other networks (TNT, TBS, USA and Spike TV), FX has landed the exclusive rights to Spider-Man 3.
Lifetime has renewed Blood Ties, its freshman drama about vampires, for a second season. The network ordered 10 episodes of the hour long show with plans to premiere it in the fall.
Halcyon Co. has purchased the rights to the Terminator franchise, and with that, comes news that there will be a Terminator 4. |
