For executives to literally ruin the entire film and the experience it was supposed to be is disgusting. There's lots of "long" films that made millions at the box office such as lord of the rings etc and it just reflects how awful the film industry is when it comes to making money that they are prepared to rip apart people creativity. I bet if there was a 4 hour sequel to the Titanic that the studio heads would be right in there waving their cash in the air. Personally I'm appalled, angry and depressed that this can even happen. May the Executives of major studios all die in pain when the "big one" hits LA. To quote John Lydon: "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?" Not only did they push it back from the US release dates, now they are splitting the movies. To split the film is absolutely ridiculous and completely makes a mockery of what Tarantino and Rodriguez were trying to achieve. I have to say that I will not be going to the cinema to pay twice, as to line the movie companies pockets. What a joke I was looking forward to this as one of the big cinema events of the summer.
