Weekend Box Office — April 20-22, 2007

Slow weekend allows Disturbia to take remain in first place with a take of $13.01M from 3,015 theaters.

This is now the fourth week in which a Paramount/Dreamworks film has held the top spot.

Disturbia has taken in $40.21M through 10 days of release.

Four new releases were sprinkled throughout the top 10, paced by New Line’s Fracture in second place with $11.01M from 2,443 theaters, Sony Screen Gems Vacancy in fourth place with $7.60M from 2,551 theaters, Rogue Pictures’ Hot Fuzz in sixth place with a solid $5.85M from only 825 theaters and in eight place was Warner Bros. In the Land of Women with $4.71M from 2,155 theaters.

Rounding out the top 10 was Blades of Glory in third place with $7.68M from 3,459 theaters. The film dropped one spot and 44.5% and passed the $100M mark on Sunday ($100.95M through 24 days of release), Meet the Robinsons dropped two spots and 44.1% to fifth place with $6.97M from 3,003 ($82.09M through 24 days of release), Are We Done Yet? dropped two spots and 42.1% to seventh place with $5.18M from 2,944 theaters ($39.57M through 19 days of release), Perfect Stranger tumbled down five spots and 63.4% in ninth place with a take of $4.10M from 2,661 theaters ($18.07M through 10 days of release) and finally in 10th place was Wild Hogs, which dropped three spots and 39.7% with $2.82M from 2,001 theaters ($156.16M through 52 days of release).

The best per theater average in the top 10 went to Hot Fuzz, with $7,089 per theater (825 sites).
