NBC Moves ‘Barker’ to Saturday’s

The struggling freshman comedy will no longer air on Thursday nights. NBC announced today they will be moving the series to Saturday nights where it will air its final two episodes of its first season order.

Only six episodes of the series were produced, with four having already aired. The final two episodes are now set to air back-to-back on Saturday, April 14 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET.

Scrubs will take over the 9:30 p.m. time slot a week earlier than was originally planned.

No plans have been revelead in regards to whether the show will return next season, though the move certainly doesn’t bode well for the future of the series.

Through four episodes on NBC on Thursday nights, it has averaged a 3.3/5 household rating/share, 5.08M viewers and a 2.2/6 adult 18-49 rating/share.
