The NFL have announced the slate of games for the opening week of football, with the regular season officially kicking off Thursday, September 6. That game will have the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts hosting the New Orleans Saints on NBC. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.
Current ESPN football analyst Ron Jaworski will be replacing Joe Theismann in the booth during the networks Monday Night Football broadcast, the network announced today. The game will now be called by Jaworski, Mike Tirico and analyst Tony Kornheiser in the booth while current sideline reporters Suzy Kolber and Michele Tafoya will stay in place.
According to IESB, Hugo Weaving (V for Vendetta, Matrix) has signed to lend his voice as Megatron in the upcoming film, Transformers.
Shots of Sylvester Stallone playing the lead character in the upcoming movie John Rambo have surfaced online.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorcese will be reteaming for another film, which will be the duo’s fourth together.
Warner Bros.’ TMNT took first place over the weekend, finishing just ahead of last week’s number one movie 300 (which passed the $150M mark on Saturday). TMNT took in $24.26M from 3,110 theaters. |
