Gwen Stefani on American Idol

A few weeks back, Fox announced guest stars to be on the hit reality singing competition show.  So far this season, Diana Ross, Peter Noone and Lulu have guested.  Next week, March 27-28, Grammy award-winning artist Gwen Stefani will be the featured guest.

Stefani will help the finalists on Tuesday, March 27 (8:00-9:07 p.m. ET) and then will perform the “The Sweet Escape” with Akon on the results show the following evening –Wednesday, March 28 (9:00-9:30 p.m.) on Fox.

The theme for the week will be pop music, with contestants picking their favorite songs from that genre.

As noted above, the Tuesday, March 27th edition of ‘Idol’ will be extended by 7 minutes.  House will follow in its entirety.
