Top 10 Box Office for Friday, March 16, 2007

According to preliminary estimates, Warner Bros. 300 remained on top in its second Friday, with a strong $10.23M on Friday moving past the 100M mark in just its eighth day.

There were three new releases in the top 10, paced by Sony/Columbia’s Premonition in second place with $6.31M, Universal’s Dead Silence in fourth place with $2.85M and Fox Searchlight’s I Think I Love My Wife in fifth place with $1.77M.

Rounding out the top 10 was Wild Hogs in third place with $5.44M ($90.61M through 15 days of release), Bridge to Terabithia in sixth place with $1.51M ($71.29M through 29 days of release), Ghost Rider in seventh place with $1.20M ($107.40M through 29 days of release), Zodiac in eighth place with $915,000 ($26.76M through 15 days of release), Norbit in ninth place with $800,000 ($90.47M through 36 days of release) and lastly in 10th place was Music and Lyrics with $685,000 ($45.86M through 31 days of release).

Keep in mind, all box office receipts above are estimates.

300 had the best per-theater average of any movie in the top 10 taking in an estimated $3,128/per theater out of 3,128 sites.
