Top 10 Box Office for Friday, March 2, 2007

According to preliminary estimates, Buena Vista’s Wild Hogs debuted to strong numbers and first place, taking in $10.65M. Only two other new releases made their way in the top 10, Zodiac in second place with an estimated $4.17M and Black Snake Moan in eighth place with an estimated $1.34M (both movies from studio Paramount).

Rounding out the top 10 was Ghost Rider in third place with $2.97M ($86.22M through 15 days of release), The Number 23 in fourth place with $2.02M ($19.66M through 8 days of release), Bridge to Terabithia in fifth place with $2.00M ($51.30M through 15 days of release), Norbit in sixth place with $1.62M ($78.13M through 22 days of release), Music and Lyrics in seventh place with $1.49M ($35.27M through 17 days of release), Reno 911: Miami in ninth place with $1.20M ($13.87M through 8 days of release) and lastly Breach in tenth place with $.99M ($22.93M through 15 days of release). Keep in mind, all numbers are based on estimates.

Wild Hogs had the best per-theater average of any movie in the top 10 taking in an estimated $3,240/per theater out of 3,287 sites.
