News of Battlestar Galactica Direct-to-DVD Movie

Over the weekend during a Galactica panel at the New York Comic-Con, Sci Fi’s Adam Stotsky informed those in attendance that a DTV project is indeed in the works and he briefly discussed certain details about it.

The proposed film will focus on “side stories” that the creators of the series have not been able to incorporate into the regular episodes. Stotsky added that after the film was released on DVD, it would most likely air on the Sci Fi channel. The comments were made on Friday.

IGN today updated their article on the story, and informed their readers that Adam Stotsky corrected his statement and said that the movies are not 100% confirmed yet, just that they are in the discussion stage.

Additionally, those interested in listening to the complete Battlestar Galactica panel, may head over to the following blog.
