I fear for Keith. I appreciate his passion and drive. Generally what can happen to an individual in his position seems to have already happened. He’s poisoned by hate, arrogance and an inability to tell truth. Notice I said tell truth not tell the truth because he’s already there… twisted; and I fear for him after he leaves the planet.

Truth is Universal, like gravity and so is Love and so is hate and dishonesty. Judas had the same problem.

Keith’s show is hard to watch, he is so brimming over with rabid vitriol and partisan hate that his news reporting is skewed to the point that it’s suspect. I like to tune into the other cable networks after Fox to get the other perspectives, but Keith’s show goes off the deep end.

I think he caters to the conspiracy nuts and Bush haters.
    He has no credibilty.

I wouldn’t call it hate. He on occasion is capable of providing some very strong monologues, in which he very effectively communicates his opinion.

Sure he goes after one side much more often than the other, if at all, but he’s in a position to offer an opinion in an entertaining way.

That’s his job. It shouldn’t be treated as gospel, just as his competitors (Hannity, O’Reilly, etc.) views shouldn’t be.

It’s all entertainment in the end. They’re trying to get a rise out of us, and occasionally hit a nerve, either positively or negatively.

I usually love Keith Olbermann. But good grief! This whole diatribe about “Hillary cries, then criticizes Obama” is NUTS. Hillary shows emotion ONE time during the campaign – so what? She criticizes Obama right afterward – so what? She’s competing with Obama for the Presidency, for gods sake. She’s SUPPOSED to criticize him, just as he’s supposed to criticize her. I’m an Obama supporter, not a Hillary supporter, but this attack on her is unfair. Regarding this matter, Keith seems to be showing off. It’s as if he’s in love with the sound of his own voice, determined to turn every small gaff the candidates make into fodder for an incisive “commentary.” I’ve loved his passionate commentaries on the Iraq war and on the dishonesty in Washington. He should save his commentaries for the big issues that matter.
