NBC has set the premiere date for two of its new shows, the drama The Black Donnelly’s and the comedy series Andy Barker, P.I.
According to CinemaBlend, director Chris Nolan of Batman: The Dark Knight is interested in Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada) for the role of Rachel Dawes (who was portrayed by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins).
NBC has picked up the reality competition Last Comic Standing (it’s fifth cycle) and set a date for launch in the summer.
During a press event at the Chinese premiere of Casino Royale, Martin Cambell, the film’s director, told the audience that he likely will not be directing the next Bond film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, film studio Warner Bros. has acquired a new script by writers Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland in “a pre-emptive measure aimed at taking the spec off the market to protect itself against the possibility that any similarities between the scripts could be fodder for future legal action.”.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series penned by J.K. Rowling has been given a firm release date: 12:01 a.m. on July 21, 2007.
