Sony has officially set the launch information for the European and Australian debut of the Sony Playstation 3.
Debuting on March 23 in both territories, the system (only the 60GB Premium model will be available) will seel for 599 Euros and AUD 999.95 (that converts to $773.25 US and $772.16 US).
Sony had originally planned to launch the system in November 2006, but production issues forced the company to switch tactics and release in the US and Japan only.
1 million consoles have been pledged to be available by launch, with the cheaper version (20GB model) to be made available at a later time.
