Networks Adjust Schedules to Counteract Against AI Juggernaut

CBS and ABC, in an effort to help stem off some ratings loss due to the returning American Idol have pulled and shifted, respectively, a series from each network.

First up, CBS has canceled its comedy/reality series Armed and Famous from its schedule, effective immediately. For the time being, CBS has scheduled a repeat of CSI: NY this week and a repeat of Criminal Minds next week.  Jericho will return February 14 with a recap episode.

ABC on the other hand has decided to shift The Knights of Prosperity away from ‘Idol’ to Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.  The show will now lead-out of George Lopez, while According to Jim (the original Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. occupant) will take the place of ‘Knights’ on Tuesday’s at 9:00 PM.
