NBC takes the Friday night crown among all main categories, as its main competition (CBS) chooses to schedule repeats. 1 vs. 100 was the nights most watched program, while Las Vegas was the top rated show among adults 18-49.

Colbert/O’Reilly Crossover Is A Hit [Updated with Final Ratings]

The Colbert/O’Reilly crossover was a ratings hit for both hosts’ shows.

The Colbert Report set a ratings record for the Comedy Central show, hitting 1.641 million total viewers at 11:30 p.m. (1.1 million of which were among the key A18-49 crowd, 930,000 among adults 25-54).

Top DVD Sales For The Week Ending January 14, 2007

Five new releases made their way on to the top 20 DVD charts this past week. Coming in at number one was Crank followed by The Illusionist at number two. Other new releases in the top 10 were Broken Bridges at number eight and Night Listener at number nine.

“Reba” Canceled

According to Marc Berman (of PIFeedback and MediaWeek) The CW’s Reba has been canceled. The series will wrap up with a one hour series finale.

Anderson Cooper Signs New Deal with CNN

According to Broadcasting & Cable, Anderson Cooper has re-upped with CNN, signing a new multiyear contract with the network. The contract is rumored to be in the neighborhood of $4 million a year, double his previous contract.
