“Identity” to return in March

Content with the performance of its limited five day run in December, NBC has decided to return the NBC gameshow Identity for another run sometime in March of this year (an exact date and time have yet to be announced).

“Daybreak” to finish run online

The remaining unaired episodes of Daybreak will be streamed online at ABC.com for no charge.

Top DVD Sales for the week ending December 31st

After serving three weeks on the top of the charts, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest was passed up by a newcomer, Jackass: Number Two.

Other new releases in the top 20 were paced by The Descent at number three, The Black Dahlia at number 10 and The Last Kiss at number 15.

Teaming up with Yahoo! TV once again, The CW will be streaming a special preview (12 minutes in length) of the upcoming episode Smallville episode “Justice”, starting today.

NBC hands out renewals to four shows

Today at the TCA, NBC entertainment president Kevin Reilly announced full-season (2007-08) orders for freshman drama Heroes and veterans My Name Is Earl, The Office and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

“Survivor” renewed

Though ratings have declined for recent installments of CBS’s veteran reality series Survivor, the network has decided to order two more seasons of the show.

The 15th and 16th editions of the series will run during the 2007-08 TV season.
