Broadcast TV Ratings for Monday, January 8, 2007

Fox’s coverage of the BCS National Championship game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Florida Gators gave the network an easy win, taking care of its competition much like Florida took care of theirs. Still though, the game was down from last season’s BCS game.

Fox finished in first place for the evening with a 16.0/24 household rating, 26.36 million total viewers and a 9.5/22 rating among adults 18-49.

  • Last Week:
    • 7.5/12 HH rating [#1]
    • 12.18M viewers [#1]
    • 4.2/12 A18-49 rating [#1]
  • 8:00 PM: According to preliminary fast nationals, Fox’s coverage (which includes all of primtime — 8-11 p.m. ET) of the BCS Championship Game: Florida vs. Ohio State (16.0/24 HH rating, 25.36M viewers, 9.5/22 A18-49 rating) gave Fox an easy win for the evening.
