Peter Doyle, known most recently for his work on the hit sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond” and for his role as the Monster in “Young Frankenstein”, passed away Tuesday night at the age of 71.
According to reports, the actor suffered from multiple myeloma and heart disease.
Mr. Boyle portrayed the character of Frank Barone (father to Ray) on ‘Raymond’ for 10 seasons and was nominated for an emmy 8 times. He won an Emmy for his work as a guest actor on an episode of “The X Files” in 1996.

Another day, another win for CBS. The Eye took the win in households and viewers, while Fox took the night in adults 18-49. The evenings highest rated program in households and viewers was CBS’s “NCIS” while Fox’s “House” took the crown among adults 18-49.

With “Heroes” out of the way until January, CBS’s comedy and “CSI: Miami” filled line-up proves enough to win the night in all categories. Though NBC does come away with the top rated show in viewers (“Deal or No Deal”). “CSI:Miami” is the top rated show in households, while “Two and A Half Men” is the nights most watched program among adults 18-49.
