Broadcast TV Ratings for Sunday, November 26, 2006

ABC takes the crown in households, viewers and adults 18-49 while the other main nets (CBS, NBC and FOX) fight it out for a very competitive second place. “Desperate Housewives” was the nights highest rated program in all categories.

ABC finished in first for the evening with a 9.3/14 HH rating (15.23M viewers) and a 5.4/13 A18-49 rating.

CBS followed in second with an 8.1/12 HH rating (12.30M) but was a distant fourth in adults 18-49, delivering only a 2.8/7 rating in that demo.

NBC finished in a very close third place with an 8.0/12 HH rating (11.45M viewers), but was third in adults 18-49, delivering a 4.4/11 rating in that demo.

  • 8:30 PM, “NBC Sunday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles at Indianapolis Colts” (8.7/13 HH rating, 13.14M viewers, 5.0/12 A18-49 rating) according to preliminary ratings numbers.

FOX was also very close behind following in fourth for the evening with a 7.2/11 HH rating (11.36M viewers) and was a strong second in adults 18-49, delivering a 4.9/12 rating in that demo.
