Starting this Tuesday, “NBC Nightly News” and “Meet the Press”, both from NBC, will be offered online from podcasts.msnbc.com free of charge.
‘Nightly News’ will be available each evening at 10:00 PM, while “Meet the Press” will be available every Sunday at 1:00 PM (all times eastern).

NBC takes the evening in households, viewers and adults 18-49 on the strength of its “Sunday Night Football” presentation, while ABC and CBS stay competitive. “Desperate Housewive” was the most watched program on the night.

ESPN was the number one cable network last week with 3.66M total viewers and a 3.0 household rating in prime time, thanks in large part to its continued success from its football offerings.

ABC has given its sophomore drama/comedy “What About Brian” a full season go, ordering the back nine. That brings its season two total to 22 episodes from 17 (ABC previously committed to 13 episodes this season, then ordered an additional four before deciding to pick up the remaining five).
